Ingredients
- 36 oz of Peach Nectar
- 6 oz of Orange Juice
- 1/2 cup of Peach Brandy
- 1/4 Cup of Grenadine Syrup
- 3 (750 Mil) Bottles of Champagne
- 1/4 Cup of Lemon Juice
- 32 oz of Carbonated Water
Instructions
A popular wedding punch recipe that is also fun for large gatherings and events, the Peach Champagne Punch contains just enough alcohol to keep the party going, with a delicious peach flavor that tends to please all of those that are able to sip it.
All ingredients should be well chilled before mixing. Put all of the non-carbonated ingredients (in other words, leave out the champagne and the carbonated water) into a large punch bowl and mix thoroughly until it appears to be all one liquid. Once completed, pour out all of the water and champagne into the punch bowl.
A Popular Variation
Peach Champagne Punches have experienced a great deal of change over the years, but this recipe appears to be one of its most popular varieties. Extra brandy can be added for those that are looking for a more alcoholic beverage, and some champagne can replace the water if that is what is preferred.
Many people also like to garnish the punch bowl with peaches, in order to bring out the color in the punch bowl that is caused by the grenadine.
Though this is considered a popular wedding punch, it can really be made for any large group event, especially when such an event is celebratory. This particular recipe serves as many as 24 people, and can easily be adjusted for a larger or smaller group, though because you will need to purchase such a large quantity of champagne to make this punch as delicious as possible, it makes more sense (and is a better punch for) large groups of people.
Peach in general is especially popular in the spring and fall months, making it one of the few punches that truly thrives in the non-winter/summer seasons. The color, especially, goes well with both budding tees and falling leaves, so if you are hosting an outdoor event, this punch will be at its strongest visually as well as gustatory.
